Be a Volunteer
A few things to note before creating your account:
• Your password must be at least six characters.
• You must enter your birthdate in DD/MM/YYYY format.
• The email address you enter will be your username to login in the future.
To volunteer through Give A Day Foundation you must create an account. No worries it's absolutely free. Click here (Volunteer Registration Form) to start the signup process.
After you have created an account log into your personal volunteer information center. You will see in the top navigation bar My Schedule. In the My Schedule is the calendar that shows a monthly list of the different available opportunities. To view, opportunities click on any day that has the orange Help Wanted icon. Find the event that looks suitable for you. Next to the event name in blue is the word description. Click on it for details concerning that particular event or project.
If that event is suitable for you click on the green Schedule me icon under the name of the event you have chosen. You are set to go. If by chance you’re not able to volunteer at that particular event you signed up for no worries, you can always remove yourself by clicking on the green remove me icon under the event.
You will receive a reminder (text if you check yes in the opt to text message during the application process) email three days before the event. You can pre-schedule events months in advance, if so you will receive a reminder email at the beginning of the month as well.

If during registration you receive a message that your email address is already in use, click on the Login button and enter your email address. If you do not know the password for your account, then click Forgot Password and password reset instructions will be emailed to you.
Be a Leader
Volunteer Leaders are GADF volunteers who lead our projects in the community. Leaders must be responsible, reliable, trustworthy, flexible, creative, and caring. Many Leaders are adults, however outstanding youth, age 16+ will be considered.
Training and Support
Our Leader orientation session is 30 to 60 minutes. During this time you'll have a good understanding of the project at hand, It will also give you the opportunity to see if the project is suited for you. Training also includes shadowing a current Project Leader.
